ABSTRACT
Industrial processes in different areas, such as pressworks, assembling, liquid filling for different types of container and other similar technological processes, involve very short operation cycle time and defined productivity rate. These types of processes are implemented on one single workstation or a machine tool. The typical parts of short technological processes are presented in this chapter. In manufacturing industries, there are numerous types of products with simple design that are machined by single machine tools. his type of parallel machine tools arrangement is presented as the manufacturing system of parallel structures. In industries, machines and automated lines of parallel arrangement different in layout and designs are represented by the following solutions: Manufacturing lines of parallel arrangement with independent work of machine tools or workstations, Automated lines of parallel structure, Automatic machine of circular design (rotor-type machine) and parallel structure. The rotary automated machine with simple technological processes can have variable structures based on the number of parallel workstations.
