ABSTRACT
This chapter provides information on the humidity-sensor packaging, protective cover, and filters that can be incorporated in humidity sensors. In particular, the description of semiconductor packaging applied to humidity sensors, ceramic packaging, packaging of high-frequency humidity sensors, and features of the packaging of humidity sensors fabricated on flexible substrates is given. Requirements for protective covers and filters for humidity sensors, as well as the condition of humidity-sensor storage, are also considered.
