ABSTRACT
This chapter provides a selection of different case studies. All the studies are focusing on component reliability modeling including studies of high-voltage circuit breakers, disconnectors, gearbox, and high-voltage direct current converter systems. Moreover, examples are given in different technologies for preventive maintenance and use of corrective maintenance systems. The case studies are examples of RCAM analysis in Stages I and II and constitute the fundamentals of performing RCM analysis supporting maintenance strategies for components.
