ABSTRACT

Dithizone methods have been used for the determination of cadmium in urine, where normally only a few micrograms per liter are found, and for the determination of cadmium in foodstuffs and organs. The results obtained by this method seem to compare favorably with results obtained by other methods. (See Table 2:1). In the following chapters, the dithizone method will be regarded as a useful method for determination of cadmium in biological material.
