ABSTRACT
Agricul tura l technologies can have significant impacts on both the water (surface and ground water) and soil environments. This chapter summarizes these impacts based on current practices, and identifies potential changes in the impacts based on the usage of several emerging agricultural technologies. Key topics included herein are: identif icat ion of water and soil impacts; models for impact quantif ication; and management and control of water and soil impacts.
