ABSTRACT
New Engineering Contract, are being used substantially and by many clients in the public and private sectors in several countries; most clients having reported that the contract gives far greater control of time, cost and quality issues combined with greatly improved relationships between the contracting parties. The Term Service Contract (TSC) is a contract by which a Contractor provides a service to a Client for a period of time which is called the 'Service Period'. This period begins at the 'starting date'. The most important objective of the TSC in that every procedure has been designed so that its implementation should contribute to, rather than detract from, the effective management of the work. The range of services covered by the TSC is extremely wide. It may extend from the maintenance of a nuclear power station to sweeping the streets. The Price List must be prepared for each contract.
