ABSTRACT

Illustrator and animator Oscar Grillo has been working in animation since 1960. After a stint at Richard William's Animation Studio in London, he formed Dragon Pictures with Geoff Dunbar, and later Klacto Pictures with Ted Rockley. Oscar designed and animated a number of award-winning commercials and shorts, most notably the BAFTA winning Seaside Woman (1980), based on the song by Paul and Linda McCartney. He also contributed to the films Men in Black (1997) and Monsters, Inc. (2001).
