ABSTRACT
Candy Kugel began at Perpetual Motion Pictures in New York doing political cartoons for NBC, ads, and TV specials. Later she and partner Vincent Cafarelli became the creative force behind Buzzco Associates. There they did commercials and educational films, notably MTV's initial launch campaign, Planned Parenthood's “Talking About Sex,” and WGBH Emmy-winning Between the Lions. Candy remains a strong voice for New York's independent animation community. And every year, Candy hosts a Passover Seder for 28!
