ABSTRACT
Brenda Chapman is one of the top directors in animation today. At Walt Disney she did story work on The Little Mermaid and Beauty and the Beast and supervised storyboard on The Lion King. At DreamWorks she co-directed The Prince of Egypt, and at Pixar she wrote and directed most of Brave. She lives in the San Francisco Bay Area with her director husband Kevin (Disney's Enchanted) and daughter Emma, the inspiration for Merida in Brave.
