ABSTRACT

The rolling process in real industrial conditions often runs with elements of geometric, speed, temperature and other asymmetry even when it is nominally considered symmetric. The problems of the theory and technology of the process of asymmetric rolling has been the subject of many studies by renowned scientists specializing in the field of metal forming. Descriptions of the process of asymmetric rolling using approximate theories for various reasons are imperfect. Wide-strip hot rolling mills often roll strips unevenly heated in thickness. Only small differences in the parameters of the rolling process the direction of bending of the strip remains constant throughout the entire reduction range. The grids of slip lines for rolling sheets and strips are usually very complex. A rolling program was compiled to solve the problems of asymmetric rolling, including blocks forming the matrix operators, operations with matrices, the formation of the matrix equation, and the solutions of this equation.
