ABSTRACT

Previous chapters have demonstrated that the tsunami of 26th December, 2004 turned into an extraordinary catastrophe which modified the marine ecosystem and land covers. The mathematical model plays a tremendous role in computing the mechanical generation of disasters. The criterion numerical model is required for forecasting and predicting long-term disaster occurrences. Precise numerical model, consequently, can assist in designing early warning systems and coastal defense structures to prevent the massive devastation of the coastal zones.
