Snapchat offers less filtered, more immediate glimpses into daily life as well as scripted events. And just as with real life, the videos are short lived, lasting from 10 seconds to 24 hours, which encourages people to participate in real time. These new social media platforms are changing the landscape of behind-the-scenes access, offering unfiltered views of everything from megawatt award shows to a glimpse of what goes on in your office. It is a brave new world.
