ABSTRACT
On July 3, 1988, at 10:17 a.m. (Iran time), Iran Air Flight 655 took off from Bandar Abbas. Captain Mohsen Rezaian and 289 passengers were departing 27 minutes after the scheduled departure time of 9:50 a.m. It was to be a brief 28-minute fl ight to Dubai.
