ABSTRACT
Addition and subtraction are two of the four operations used with any type of number. Because fractions are used in so many types of problems, such as measurement problems, it is important to know how to perform these operations. This chapter will demonstrate how to add and subtract fractions in several forms. It will also strengthen skills in reducing fractions and changing them from one form to another.
