ABSTRACT
Every enterprise architecture must pay a great deal of attention to infrastructural issues. As has been apparent since Chapter 1, the role of a technological infrastructure is to help in efficiently supporting all other activities, from policy formation, to command and control, to daily operations. This should be done not only in a dependable way but also at much lower cost than that of rival companies. Only then can technology be used as a strategic weapon against competitors.
