ABSTRACT
This contribution examines the issue of adaptation to climate change within United Kingdom agriculture. It begins by summarising possible impacts that may occur in the United Kingdom based on modelling of future conditions and experience of recent extreme events. It examines the sort of adaptation that may be necessary, and then moves on to consider the sort of information that farmers and the agricultural industry may need in order to respond to such changes and the way that this should be presented.
