ABSTRACT
Foaming within polymer is a unique and intriguing phenomena. It is dynamic in nature, and the pressure-temperature-volume varies throughout the process [123]. A stable and useful foamed product is formed at the end. It can be imagined that from concept to lab success, from lab to pilot line, and from pilot to commercial success, involves a wide variety of challenges. It is very encouraging that the foam industry not only survived the challenges, but picked up strength after each trial to become stronger. In this chapter, we will address several established foam technologies to comprehend the engineering practice of the scientic principles.
