ABSTRACT

In the field of synthesis and discovery of multicomponent systems (chemical, biological, etc.) the range of materials and properties of interest is constrained mainly by the availability of measurement and detection methods and devices. In this respect, photodetectors and sensors are of special importance. Application of systems of high-performance (high-sensitivity, fast-operation) radiation detectors with widest possible range of detectable wavelengths would provide highthroughput synthesis and development of various chemical compositions, drugs, catalysts, allowing the information to be retrieved and processed already in the process of synthesis.
