ABSTRACT
This difference in diffusion coefficients is a result of differences in molecular size. Likewise, it has been found that the rate of diffusion at the same concentration is about the same for different solvents with approximately the same size and shape, even though they may have different solubility parameters (but not so different that both are able to dissolve in the polymer at the level of comparison).
