ABSTRACT
The conclusions on the effect of an external magnetic field on the 7 F0 and 7 F1 levels of the 4 f 6 configuration are extended here by the role of magnetic hyperfine interaction on these two levels of two particular stable isotopes, 147Sm,149 Sm that possess the nuclear spin I = 72 .
