ABSTRACT
We now try to use the ideas introduced in the previous chapter to the calculation of interactions in some one-and two-electron systems. Firstly, we consider the Coulomb repulsion in two-electron systems, secondly the spin-orbit interaction in one-and two-electron systems and thirdly, intermediate coupling and its effect on the Lande g−factors.
