ABSTRACT
The Access Board creates and publishes accessibility guidelines and standards mandated in various laws. These guidelines and legally mandated standards are, in practice, a statement of accessible design strategies and methods. Because of this, the Access Board is the focal point for information, training, and enforcement of accessibility-related issues. Knowledge of the Access Board, its duties and responsibilities, but more importantly its resources, is critical for engineers, designers, managers, and policy makers.
