ABSTRACT

Robbery is one of the four violent crimes categorized by the FBI’s uniform crime reports, the others being murder, forcible rape, and aggravated assault. This book is constructed in such a way as to cover the most difficult aspects of criminal investigation first, starting with the crime scene and death investigations. By utilizing the same techniques that have been previously discussed, the investigator already possesses two thirds of the knowledge required to investigate the crime of robbery. This section relates to robbery as a stand-alone crime, rather than a crime committed in conjunction with a murder or a rape.
