ABSTRACT
The integration of enterprise-level business systems with manufacturing systems is increasingly an important factor driving productivity increases and making businesses more responsive to supply chain demands. As a result, more and more businesses are making integration a priority and are searching for standards and tools to make integration projects easier. The World Batch Forum’s (WBF) Business To Manufacturing Markup Language (B2MML) is an Extensible Markup Language (XML) vocabulary, based upon the ANSI-ISA 95 (ISA-95) standards and the international equivalent IEC/ISO 62264-1 standard.
