Vector Data Operations

Vector data analysis is based on the geometric objects of point, line, and polygon. Vector-based operations typically involve the shape of spatial features. Some operations also involve feature attributes. Four common types of vector data analyses are buffering, overlay, spatial join, and feature manipulation.
