ABSTRACT
BCs are intended to fasten together machine components, which are manufactured singly (for technological or other reasons), but when operating they must work as a unit. The needed strength and rigidity of this connection is achieved, in the first place, by strong pressure of the connected parts against each other. The magnitude of the clamping force should be enough to prevent joint separation or any slippage in the connection.
