ABSTRACT

In preceding chapters, we have focused primarily on problems associated with measurement error in predictor variables. In this chapter, we consider problems that arise when a true response is measured with error. Since in previous chapters we have designatedX as a covariate measured with error, to emphasize that we are not combining response error and covariate error, we will not use X in this chapter.
