ABSTRACT

The theory of cone representations of geometries may be viewed an alternative model to representations using orthogonal arrays. This model is due to D. Glynn in a series of articles [402, 403, 404, 405]. Although not mined thoroughly, this is a very general representation method, which should provide significant constructions and interconnections. In particular, there are interconnections with cyclic semifields of order q3 and kernel containing GF (q), their associated generalized Desarguesian planes with kernels containing GF (q) and certain cone representations.
