ABSTRACT
The object of this book is to introduce and discuss a family of methods for quantifying categorical data, known by such names as dual scaling, correspondence analysis, homogeneity analysis, optimal scaling and reciprocal averaging. All of these are placed under the umbrella of MUNDA (multidimensional nonlinear descriptive analysis) in this book.
