ABSTRACT
Based on these concepts, the IMS QoS principles are introduced. These concepts are largely shared by Mobile and Fixed Networks, including considerations for roaming and end-to-end QoS across multiple networks. Finally, this chapter provides a detailed description of IMS QoS management according to the 3GPP and then according to TISPAN, describing their different terminologies and separation of functions.
