Security in Wireless Sensor Networks

Security in wireless sensor networks (WSNs) have strong relationship with those in wireless ad hoc networks, due to the similar system models for both types of networks. However, due to different application scenarios of WSNs, security issues in WSNs are considerably different from those in wireless ad hoc networks. Specifically, most of the services in a sensor network are designed to be distributed. Distributed services are susceptible to various attacks.
