ABSTRACT
As the bandwidth of the wireless channel increased, variety of services can be provided in the wireless network, such as the video conference, network phone, and online video games. Some of these services require the guarantee of a certain bandwidth or a bounded delay, otherwise, the
quality of these services will be unacceptable. Therefore, quality of service (QoS) becomes an important issue in the MANET and the QoS routing is the most important issue. The QoS routing protocols for the MANET have been studied extensively.3-6,8,10-14,16-18,21-30 Since the MANET has no fixed topology, flooding is regarded as the most reliable way to discover the QoS route but is expensive. Therefore, many works try to reduce the cost of establishing the QoS routes or focus on establishing stable (or secure) QoS routes.3,6,8,11,19,21,24,25 These works are efficient but cannot provide QoS-guaranteed transmissions.
