ABSTRACT
The minimum wall thickness is usually 0.060-0.080 inches (1.5-2 mm) in the annular area-anywhere along the profile except in the neck finish. There may be some comprises between parison wall thickness and blow-up ratio in any given product to be produced. If a given weight is specified for the product, if blow-up ratios are small, or if minimum and maximum wall thickness have to be met, then the parison’s wall thickness has to meet these conditions.
