ABSTRACT
Stress propagation is becoming increasingly important in structural design due to increasing occurrences of high-speed impacts with structures. Stress propagation phenomenon has been studied for many years, but due to mathematical complexities, the phenomenon is still not completely understood nor readily accessible to engineers and designers.
