ABSTRACT
Ultrashort pulse generators are the lightwave sources that emit short pulses of high intensity. That means the energy has been concentrated to a very short time and periodically distributed along the pulses of the sequence. The peak power of these pulses would reach the nonlinear threshold of several materials that are used as the interaction and guided media for photonic signal processing.
