ABSTRACT
Of all the areas of investigation concerning the neurobiology of aggression and rage, studies involving neurochemistry and neuropharmacology have attracted the lion’s share of attention as seen in the large numbers of research papers published in this field. A goal of this chapter is to provide a representative sampling of the literature, which typically reflects the major conclusions regarding the relationships of the various neurotransmitters to aggression and rage.
