ABSTRACT
Product life-cycle management describes software information systems used to manage the information and events associated with a product from concept through design through manufacturing through distribution; it also includes user feedback processes. The capabilities of an effective system enable interaction among departments within a company or an extended enterprise of supply chain partners.
