ABSTRACT

A poorly implemented launch will cause the project to lose momentum before it shows significant results. The project launch process establishes a foundation on which you can build the implementation. It will take at least 90 days before the effects of your efforts become plain. Therefore, the momentum gathered through a good launch must be sufficient to carry you through the period when the critics and skeptics cast doubt on whether the implementation will actually work. In a sense, the project launch process gets you about 6 months of “grace” before any criticism will be taken seriously.
