ABSTRACT
In our present and increasingly litigious society, the importance of the contract in executing projects is becoming more apparent. Regardless of the size of the company or the size of the project, developing the right set of contractual documents is a key element to the overall success of a project. There are many different options available in structuring a contract. There is no right or wrong option. Success will come from the overall philosophy taken in developing the execution plan for the project and in the diligence of monitoring the contract for compliance.
