ABSTRACT

Anyone who has played golf knows that when hitting the ball, many times the golf ball will not go where the player wants it to go. Occasionally, even golf professionals will hit a wild shot. When a golfer's wild or erratic shot hits someone else; the golfer is often not held responsible by the U.S. court system Most people understand that the golfer did not intentionally hit the person with the golf ball. The following questions were developed from an idea in a Wall Street Journal article.
