ABSTRACT
A beginning designer of magnetic components has to face a few questions concerning the windings of the components: how much copper can be wound on a given core, how many turns for one layer are available, and what kind of insulation should be used in the design. Some experience and the trial-and-error approach can improve the result. In this chapter a more systematic view about coil winding aspects is given to facilitate the design.
