ABSTRACT
The field of software metrics is not a new phenomenon. Software metrics have
been developed and used for some time. Many metrics and methods to measure
software complexity have been proposed and explored. This activity has led to
in software development models. Many of the proposed metrics can be measured objectively, but some can only be determined subjectively. Many models of the programming process have been constructed using various supposedly relevant factors that pertain to software size and complexity, programmer experience, and the program development procedure.
