ABSTRACT
There are many ways to heat metal parts including the use of induction heaters, gasfired furnaces, fluidized bed furnaces, salt baths, infrared heaters, electric and fuelfired furnaces, and so on. Each method has its own advantages. There is obviously no universal method that is best in all cases of metal heating and heat treating.
