ABSTRACT
The effect of flow pattern in a reactor was investigated with ethylene as the monomer by changing the position of monomer inlet and pumping exit of the system. A relatively high flow rate of about 9.8 sccm, which showed a conspicuous minimum at the location near the monomer inlet, was used throughout this series of experiments.
