ABSTRACT
The driving force for surface dynamic change is the interfacial tension, which is given by Eq. (25.7) or Eq. (25.8), depending on the contacting phase. It can be seen from these equations that the driving force in the case of water immersion is different from the case of wet surface drying as described before.
