ABSTRACT
While the use of permanent magnets provides relatively simple magnetrons, study of the influence of magnetic field, which is an important variable of plasma polymerization by a magnetron, requires the change of the electrode system for each level
of magnetic field strength. The use of electromagnets, instead of permanent magnets, avoids this inherent shortcoming of permanent magnetrons and provides great flexibility in operation of plasma polymerization.
