ABSTRACT
The following position descriptions cover the gamut of project-management-related jobs in an organization that is committed to managing by projects, from executive staff members on the enterprise and organizational levels to specialty staff. The positions in one’s own company probably represent a subset of those described here because few companies have fully implemented and committed to enterprise project management on an enterprise scale of this magnitude. Lest one think these are unrealistic organizational positions, we note numerous organizations that have dedicated resources much like our descriptions. Specifically, fully mature Enterprise Project Offices in fields such as construction, federal governments, and certain industry groups represent examples of such matured, projectized organizations. We offer these as downstream goals that may spark discussion and planning for the future.
