ABSTRACT
The word “strategy” is often misused. In some circles, it is synonymous with “important.” In this book, “strategy” refers to a global level of thinking about the information systems (IS) organization and its integration with the rest of the enterprise. A strategy must be coherent, consistent, and directional.
