ABSTRACT
This chapter deals with reviews and inspections, most specifically with reviews conducted by peers of the author of a work product. Inspections, peer reviews, walkthroughs, structured reviews; these are all terms that are used interchangeably in software engineering. Yet the activities that they entail are rarely carried out consistently in the course of developing a software application.
