ABSTRACT
Training may be the Rodney Dangerfield of packaged system implementation. It gets little respect, and yet it is a critical element in making that implementation successful. A perfectly installed and configured system is of no value if the end users cannot use it or if they find using it a frustrating experience. Without adequate training, either scenario is possible. Furthermore, without proper training, the project team will have difficulty producing that perfect installation and configuration.
